Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her guidance and commitment to bettering South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) providers in the course of an engagement together with the agency's senior administrators at a strategic planning session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the numerous social grant beneficiaries, who excelled within the 2024 matric final exams.
From the 724 156 full-time learners who registered with the National Senior Certificate (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, symbolizing eighty one% in the registered pupils during the education and learning sector.
These learners reached a commendable pass rate of 86%.
